Privacy Policy

The MintJackal operator is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: support@mintjackal.com.

Information we collect

We collect account email addresses, password hashes, session identifiers, subscription references, watchlists, alert preferences, Telegram chat identifiers you connect, terms-acceptance records, support correspondence and basic security logs such as IP addresses.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide and secure accounts, deliver requested alerts, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, provide support, meet legal obligations and improve service reliability. Our lawful bases may include contract, legal obligation and legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service.

Who receives it

Service providers may process limited information for us, including Render for hosting, Stripe for billing, Resend for account email, Telegram for alerts, and infrastructure or market-data providers. Their own privacy terms also apply. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we use an applicable adequacy arrangement or contractual safeguards provided by the relevant supplier.

Retention

Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, fraud-prevention and accounting needs. Expired sessions and one-time security tokens are deleted automatically. You may ask us to delete eligible account information.

Cookies

MintJackal uses a strictly necessary HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. The scanner may also store a local watchlist in your browser. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

Security

We use password hashing, restricted cookies, access controls, rate limits and backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first so we can try to help.

Changes and contact

We will update this notice when our processing changes and show a revised version date. Questions and rights requests can be sent to support@mintjackal.com.
